Article 1 – Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between Hôtel Les Touristes and its guests for any room reservation, restaurant service or other service offered by the establishment.

Any reservation implies unconditional acceptance of these GTC.

Article 2 – Reservations

Reservations can be made:

A reservation is considered firm and final upon confirmation by Hôtel Les Touristes, by email or letter.

Article 3 – Rates

Room and service rates are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes (VAT included).

They include:

• Accommodation for the number of guests indicated
• Equipment and services included in the reserved room category

Not included in the room rate:

• Breakfast: €13 per adult, €8 per child aged 3 to 10
• Half-board (winter): €76 per adult, excluding drinks
• Tourist tax: €0.75 per adult guest per night

Rates may vary according to the period, length of stay and room category. Prices in force are those indicated at the time of reservation.

Hôtel Les Touristes reserves the right to modify its rates at any time, but services will be charged at the rates in force at the time of confirmed reservation.

Article 4 – Payment methods

Hôtel Les Touristes accepts the following payment methods:

• Bank cards (Visa, Mastercard)
• Cash
• ANCV holiday vouchers

Deposit: A deposit may be requested at the time of reservation to secure the booking. The amount and terms will be specified at the time of reservation.

The balance is payable on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.

Article 5 – Arrival and departure

Arrival (Check-in): between 2:00pm and 8:00pm Departure (Check-out): before 10:30am

In the event of late arrival (after 8:00pm), please notify the hotel in advance so that your reception can be organised.

Any departure after 10:30am without prior agreement may result in an additional night being charged.

Article 6 – Reservation modification and cancellation

6.1 – Modification

Any request to modify a reservation (dates, number of guests, room category) must be made by email or phone and remains subject to hotel availability.

6.2 – Cancellation by the guest

Flexible model:

• Free cancellation up to 7 days before the arrival date
• Between 7 days and 48 hours before arrival: charge of 50% of the total stay amount
• Less than 48 hours before arrival or no-show: charge of 100% of the total stay amount

6.3 – Cancellation by the hotel

In the event of force majeure or exceptional circumstances, Hôtel Les Touristes reserves the right to cancel a reservation. The guest will then be fully refunded for any amounts paid.

Article 7 – Tourist tax

In accordance with current regulations, a tourist tax of €0.75 per adult guest per night applies. It is payable on site during your stay.

Article 8 – Pets

Pets are accepted free of charge at the establishment.

Owners agree to:

• Keep their pet on a lead in common areas
• Ensure their pet does not disturb other guests
• Take full responsibility for any damage caused by their pet

Article 9 – Liability

Hôtel Les Touristes accepts no liability for:

• Theft, loss or damage to personal belongings in rooms or common areas
• Damage caused by the guest or their pet

The establishment has a safe at reception for valuables (on request).

Any damage caused to hotel equipment or furniture will be charged to the responsible guest.

Article 10 – Groups

Hôtel Les Touristes does not accept group bookings.

Article 11 – House rules

Guests agree to respect the establishment's house rules and good neighbourly conduct.

Any uncivil behaviour, noise disturbance or conduct contrary to public order may result in the immediate expulsion of the guest without refund.

Smoking is prohibited in rooms and covered common areas of the hotel.

Article 12 – Personal data (GDPR)

Information collected at the time of reservation is necessary for the management of your stay. It is intended solely for Hôtel Les Touristes and is never passed on to third parties.

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, delete and object to your personal data.

Article 13 – Complaints

Any complaint relating to a service provided by Hôtel Les Touristes must be addressed:

In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority.

Article 14 – Mediation

In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, guests may have free recourse to a consumer mediator in the event of an unresolved dispute:

Article 15 – Applicable law and jurisdiction

These GTC are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable resolution, jurisdiction is attributed to the competent courts of Thonon-les-Bains.
