Four generations · One passion

There are houses that have a soul. Hôtel Les Touristes is one — built stone by stone by a family who has made hospitality a calling.

A family saga

1934

The Founders

François Aubert, the village postman and a dynamic man, decides to open a family-run inn called "Les Touristes". His wife Bernadette takes over the kitchen from the start of 1934, giving birth to the Café "Les Touristes" and a tradition of generous hospitality.

The Hotel Takes Shape

Driven by their success, François and Bernadette embark on major renovations to transform an old village house into a true comfortable hotel. But war breaks out. The hotel, barely finished, is requisitioned — a painful chapter in the family's history.

The Second Generation

As François approaches retirement, their son Joseph takes over with his wife Suzanne. Passionate about the mountains, they excel on the ski slopes and introduce their guests to the joys of summer hiking. The hotel naturally becomes rooted in the rise of winter sports.

Liliane & Jean-Luc

Liliane, daughter of Joseph and Suzanne, and her husband Jean-Luc Léonardi continue the family tradition with the same attention to detail, the same love of Savoyard gastronomy, and that special warmth that brings guests back year after year.
